The Taipei City Government is implementing the Taipei Industry Development Incentive Program, offering various resources such as investment incentives and innovation subsidies. In light of global market uncertainties and the recent U.S. tariff increases on specific products, this special program aims to support Taipei-based enterprises in mitigating external impacts, accelerating industrial upgrading and transformation, and enhancing international competitiveness.
SMEs registered in Taipei City
(Excluding foreign companies registered outside Taipei City.)
Enterprises directly or indirectly affected by U.S. tariffs, with supporting evidence such as:
Order cancellations or delays by clients
Requests from clients to absorb tariff costs

Applicants meeting the above conditions may apply for investment incentives, R&D, and branding subsidies under the Taipei City self-governing regulations. Approved projects will receive an additional 20% subsidy on top of the evaluation results, provided that the total amount does not exceed the maximum subsidy cap stipulated by law.
Each investment project or plan may only apply for the additional subsidy once under this program.
