Subject: Call for Proposals – 2025 Taipei City Industrial Development Incentive Program (2nd Thematic R&D Subsidy)
Basis: In accordance with Article 5, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 3 of the Taipei City Industrial Development R&D Subsidy Application Guidelines.
AI Innovative Applications
To promote the development and diverse applications of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, and to accelerate their adoption and diffusion across industries, the Taipei City Government encourages enterprises to submit R&D projects focused on AI innovation with practical industrial applications and deployment.
Eligible project areas include:
AI Core Technology R&D and Enhancement (e.g., core algorithms, model training)
AI Platforms and Application Tools (e.g., model development platforms, data processing and governance tools)
AI Application Deployment (e.g., industry-specific or scenario-based solutions with demonstrable feasibility, including field demonstrations, technology validation, and scalability)
From October 15, 2025 (Wednesday) to November 14, 2025 (Friday).
Each approved project may receive up to NT$2 million (with a minimum total project cost of NT$4 million).
Approximately 15 projects are expected to be selected (the number may be fewer if proposals do not meet the required standards).
6. Project Duration
The approved project implementation period shall run from December 1, 2025 to November 30, 2026 (12 months in total).
7. Eligibility Criteria:
Companies or businesses registered in Taipei City, or foreign companies with a registered location in Taipei City.
Applicants must have completed company registration for at least one year.
