SMEs are qualify to apply for subsidies as long as the company is located in Taipei City with new investment project which is innovative or has character or potential,
there are no limitations of capital or industrial field. It provides subsidies of Job Training Programs; New hired employee’s payroll;
Annual housing tax & land-value tax; Rental Subsidy for providing for the assets located within the city; Interest payments;
City-owned real estate…etc. total subsidized amount can be up to 50 million dollars. In order to encourage technology development,
Taipei City is the first city government who provides R&D subsidies which can be up to 5 million dollars.
Moreover, it also provides up to 5 million dollars for Brands establishment; up to 3 million dollars for incubation; up to 1 million dollars for new startups.
